Last updated 2 months ago

At Fit Club, we integrate with Strava to record your walks and track daily steps seamlessly. Strava is a widely-used Web2 walking tracker available for free on Android and iOS, making it easy for anyone to participate. This allows us to bridge fitness with blockchain, creating a stronger and more impactful fitness community.

How It Works

Once you sync your Strava activity with the Fit Club app, you can request verification of your steps. We use Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) to generate secure, private, and on-chain digital signatures of your data—computed entirely on your device.

Key Things to Know

1️⃣ Steps → Points

  • Your steps are converted into points with this formula: Steps ÷ 10 = Points

    • Example: 1,000 steps = 100 points

2️⃣ Daily Claims

  • You can claim your points once a day after a full day of activity.

  • This prevents spamming and ensures fair rewards.

3️⃣ No Manual Entries

  • Manually added activities on Strava will not be valid to prevent cheating.

4️⃣ Free Beta

  • Right now, converting steps to points is free during our beta phase.

  • In the future, it may require a small amount of $FIT.
